Honda Launches EV Concept Store in Bengaluru, Offers Battery Plan at ₹678/Month

Affordable EV Ownership Kicks Off in Malleshwaram: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has opened its first EV concept store at Mantri Square Mall in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. The launch also marks the debut of a budget-friendly battery subscription plan aimed at making electric vehicles more accessible.

New ₹678/Month Battery Plan for Activa e:

Alongside the store launch, Honda introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) Lite Plan for its electric scooter, Activa e:. Priced at ₹678 per month, this plan offers users up to 20kWh of battery usage per month, ideal for low-distance daily commuters.

Battery Subscription Options:

  • Lite Plan – 20kWh/month – ₹678
  • Basic Plan – 35kWh/month – ₹1,999
  • Advance Plan – 87kWh/month – ₹3,599

All battery plans are supported by Honda’s Power Pack Exchanger e: network for quick and efficient battery swapping.

The Bengaluru concept store blends education with interactivity. Key features include:

  • LED displays tracing Honda’s electric journey
  • Hands-on demo stations for battery swapping
  • Product showcases including Activa e: and QC1

Honda’s Activa e: comes equipped with dual 1.5kWh swappable batteries, offering a range of 102 km per full charge. With the new Lite Plan, Honda aims to make this scooter more attractive for urban riders seeking cost-effective EV options.
