Eye-Catching New Cover Screen Design: The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, arriving on July 9 in New York, features a revolutionary 4–4.1-inch cover display. That’s a big leap from the previous 3.4 inches and wraps elegantly around the camera area—reminiscent of the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra. Expect a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and the now-expanded panel supports live widgets, media controls, and notifications via One UI.
The foldable interior remains 6.9 inches, maintains 120Hz refresh rate, and boasts up to 2,600 nits brightness. Thanks to refined hinge tech, the Flip 7 will be Samsung’s thinnest clamshell ever—about 13.7mm folded and 6.5mm unfolded—and comes in fresh shades Coral Red, Blue Shadow, and classic Jet Black.
For the first time, Samsung is equipping a global foldable with the new Exynos 2500 chipset, which aligns closely with Snapdragon 8 Elite performance but offers better heat handling due to the flip form. Standard specs include 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, and full connectivity: 5G, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB 3.2 Type‑C, plus satellite messaging powered by Exynos.
The Flip 7 will ship with One UI 7 (Android 15) and include the suite of Galaxy AI tools. Samsung pledges seven years of OS upgrades and security updates, keeping the device secure and current far beyond its release.
A major improvement comes in battery capacity—4,300 mAh, up from the Flip 6’s 4,000 mAh. Despite capped 25W charging, users should enjoy reliable all-day battery performance thanks to the upgraded chipset and power optimizations.
The Flip 7 sticks with a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP selfie cam. Galaxy AI editing features, like object eraser, will enhance shots without the need for extra apps.
Expect pricing similar to last year’s model, starting around ₹1.10 lakh in India. Samsung may also unveil a more affordable Flip 7 FE variant based on Flip 6, powered by the Exynos 2400e—ideal for cost-conscious buyers.
With the iPhone 17 expected in September, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 offers a unique, versatile flip form packed with smart features and long-term support. If you crave innovation and productivity on the go, the Flip 7 is worth waiting for. If you prefer classic candy-bar phones, the iPhone 17 could be a better choice.
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 pushes foldable innovation further—with a bigger cover screen, stylish design, flagship hardware, and improved battery. This model positions itself as a leading alternative to conventional smartphones, offering flexibility and style. The upcoming Flip 7 FE may attract budget-minded fans too.
Join the July 9 launch event to catch real-time pricing and availability. If you’re eyeing foldable tech, the Flip 7 should be on your radar.
