Share

JEE Main 2025: The wait is almost over! The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2 begins tomorrow, April 2, and will continue until April 9. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), this exam is a crucial step for thousands of students aiming for top engineering colleges.

If you’re one of the aspirants, now is the time to check your exam schedule, download your admit card, and review the essential rules set by NTA. Missing out on key details could mean unnecessary stress on exam day.

JEE Main Exam Schedule: Dates for Paper 1 & Paper 2

The exam is structured into two major papers:

  • Paper 1 (BE/BTech) – Scheduled for April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8.

  • Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) – Set for the final day, April 9.

With lakhs of students appearing nationwide, this staggered schedule ensures smooth coordination at exam centers.

JEE Main Admit Cards: How to Download Yours

Admit cards for the first three days (April 2, 3, and 4) are already available. If you’re appearing on these dates, you can download yours from the official NTA website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Simply log in using your application number and date of birth, then download and print your hall ticket. Admit cards for the remaining dates (April 7, 8, and 9) will be released soon, so keep an eye on updates.

🔹 Important Reminder: A printed admit card and a valid photo ID are mandatory for entry. Without these, you won’t be allowed inside.

JEE Main Exam Day Guidelines: What You Need to Know

NTA has issued strict rules to ensure a fair and hassle-free exam experience. Here’s what you need to remember:

1. Arrive Early to Avoid Last-Minute Stress

Plan to reach the exam center at least two hours before the test starts. Late entries won’t be allowed, even if the delay is due to traffic or other unforeseen reasons. Arriving early also gives you time to settle in and listen to important instructions.

2. Follow Seating & Exam Protocols

Once inside, find your allotted seat and stay there. Switching seats is strictly prohibited and could lead to disqualification. Also, make sure the question paper on your screen matches your chosen exam (BE/BTech or BArch/BPlanning). If there’s a mistake, alert an invigilator immediately.

3. What You Can & Cannot Bring

Allowed:

  • Printed admit card

  • Valid photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, voter ID, etc.)

🚫 Not Allowed:

  • Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators

  • Any stationery (pens, paper, etc.)

  • Metallic objects, food, or water bottles

Following these rules will help avoid any unnecessary issues during the exam.

4. What to Do If You Face a Problem

If you encounter a technical issue or have a medical emergency, inform an invigilator immediately. They are there to assist you and ensure a smooth exam experience.

Final Checklist Before Exam Day

✔️ Download and print your admit card.
✔️ Double-check your exam center location.
✔️ Plan your travel to arrive on time.
✔️ Avoid carrying restricted items.
✔️ Stay calm and focused for the test.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 is a significant milestone in your journey toward a top engineering college. A little preparation and punctuality can make a big difference.
